Editorial principles
We base information on fees, processing times and the rules of the ESTA system exclusively on official sources from the US authorities — the official website esta.cbp.dhs.gov and publications of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). We do not publish rumours, second-hand information or our own assumptions. Where a point has not been officially confirmed, we say so explicitly or do not publish it at all.
How we update content
We regularly review official CBP announcements and the content of esta.cbp.dhs.gov. When there are important changes — such as a change to the fee or to the application process — we update the pages concerned and record the date of the change.
What we do not do
- We do not submit ESTA applications on behalf of travellers or complete forms for anyone else
- We do not charge fees, commissions or service charges
- We are not affiliated with the US government or any government agency and do not act on their behalf
- We do not collect any personal data required for an application (such as passport numbers)
An ESTA application is always submitted only through the official US government website.
Reporting errors
We make every effort to ensure that the information we publish is accurate and up to date. If you nevertheless notice an error or outdated information, please let us know using the contact form. We check every report against the official sources and correct the content promptly where necessary.
